Estonia-based Startup Wise Guys has become one of the investors to invest €876K in Madrid-based startup Breakevent , an AI platform for the music industry. 

The American subsidiary of the Estonian AI startup Gridraven  has raised financing in the amount of €4M from leading European venture funds, including 42CAP and Icebreaker.

Tallinn-based PARSIQ   has announced the launch of the $3M Reactive Network Developer Fund, a program aimed at supporting various projects, mostly dApps. 

Estonia has retained its status as the leading EU country in AI for the second year in a row, scoring 15% more points than Germany, the runner-up in the Startup Ecosystem Awards. France, Switzerland and Romania also made it into the top five. Estonia ranks 6th place in the world country ranking.

Andres Kitter will lead Lightyear 's pan-European operations, while Alvar Lumberg will join the development team, focusing on building the company's global infrastructure. 

This week, several Estonian companies signed  an agreement with the European Space Agency (ESA) to cooperate in cybersecurity.

The University of Latvia hosted  the presentation of BioPhoT, a joint project of the Latvian state and the scientific community of the country, which will run until at least 2032.
