Bolt launches business accelerator in Estonia
Tallinn-based unicorn Bolt has launched a business accelerator in Estonia aimed at food delivery managers and drivers to help them turn their business ideas into reality. The project is implemented in partnership with Civitta.
Founded in Tallinn in 2013 by Markus Villig, Martin Villig, and Oliver Leisalu, Bolt offers ride-hailing services, shared cars and scooters, as well as, food and grocery delivery. It has 150M people in its user base and it operates in 50 countries across Europe and Africa.
Bolt has previously launched several business accelerators in African countries. The purpose of such accelerator is to provide the knowledge, skills, mentoring support and seed capital needed to start a business.
Civitta is a company that provides services in project planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, implementation and support. Founded in 2010 in Lithuania, Civitta now has more than 700 experienced employees, with offices in 20 countries in Eastern and Central Europe, as well as in Asia.
