Private equity fund Bregal Milestone buys Estonian Ridango from Baltcap
London-based private equity fund Bregal Milestone has acquired a majority stake in Estonian transportation technology company Ridango from Estonian fund BaltCap.
Ridango is a company that has developed an operating system for automated fare collection, real-time passenger information systems, automatic vehicle location tracking and mobility as a service (MaaS) technology. The company serves more than 150 customers in over 25 countries around the world. Ridango was founded in 2009 in Tallinn, Estonia.
With the operational and financial support of Bregal Milestone, Ridango will be able to accelerate its organic and inorganic growth and transform itself into a technology company with global ambitions, said Erki Lipre, founder and CEO.
