Members of EstBAN invested €15.8M in startups in 2024
In 2024, members of the Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN) invested a total of €15.8M in startups. In 2023, the figure was €13.32M.
€3.8M came from direct angel investments, €11.4M - from investment funds, and €0.6M - from crowdfunding platforms.
In 2024, EstBAN had 255 members, including both individuals and venture capital funds. 49% of them reported making at least one investment in 2024. The majority indicated that they planned to continue investing in startups in 2025.
Among the partners who have contributed to the business angel network in 2024, EstBAN mentioned Partner of the Year 2024 - Swedbank Estonia, Fund Member - Lithuania's BSV Ventures, Newcomer - Kati Vabi, Lead Investors of the Year - Sven Kotkas and Jan Lätt, Angel Investor - Mihkel Karu.
Founded in 2012, EstBAN is a syndicate organization of angel investors. The lead investors are Martin Gorosko and Mait Sooaru. EstBAN's members include Estonian Change Ventures and Tera Ventures, Lithuanian Practica Capital and Firstpick, Nordic Secondary Fund from Denmark, and others.
