Lithuanian eany.io acquires Mentum AI

Lithuanian B2B marketplace for home appliances, electronics and DIY products eany.io has acquired Lithuanian startup Mentum AI. 

Mentum AI provides a platform for automating product content in the e-commerce sector. The platform generates product specifications, multilingual descriptions, and SEO-friendly product listings for e-commerce businesses, from mainstream to niche, by providing localized content. The company was founded in Lithuania in 2022. The co-founder and CEO of Mentum AI is Povilas Skrebutenas.

The eany.io platform was founded in 2010 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Its co-founders include Mindaugas Apanavičius, Artūras Petkauskas, Kęstiūtis Ramoskevičius and Antanas Kaseli. It connects manufacturers, retailers, and distributors who sell products with online and physical shops that buy those products. The startup's technology collects inventory data from various manufacturers, distributors, retailers, overstockers, and brands. The collected data is aggregated and analyzed on the platform and specific information is provided to buyers through physical and online stores in the form of product listings. Suppliers also receive feedback on their product range.

Through this acquisition, eany.io will integrate Mentum's AI-based solution Mentum AI to help online retailers create more accurate product descriptions.
