Estonian startup Soldera raises round to €2.5M
Finnish fund Lifeline Ventures has become a new investor in Estonian startup Soldera. As a result, the company managed to raise €2.5M. Soldera's other investors were Finnish Skaala and Estonian Lemonade Stand.
Soldera was founded in Estonia in 2023 by Stenver Jerkku and Al William Tammsaar. The company’s product is a comprehensive AI-driven platform that automates the management and optimization of Renewable Energy Certificates and Guarantees of Origin for renewable energy producers. According to the company, it significantly reduces administrative work, allows better market access, and maximizes revenue potential. Soldera operates in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, controlling 20% of production points in these regions.
Notable clients include major renewable energy producers like BaltCap Infrastructure Fund, Kaamos Energy, as well as other significant producers like Vestman, Merito, and Sunsa.
With the funds raised, Soldera plans to further improve its AI-based platform, expand beyond its current markets and attract new manufacturers.
Lemonade Stand is a venture capital fund investing in early stage technology startups from the Baltic States and Eastern Europe. The company was founded in Tallinn, Estonia in 2019 by Siim Teller.
