Estonian fund Trind Ventures invests in SparkReceipt

Estonian fund Trind Ventures has invested in Finland-based accounting software provider SparkReceipt. The funding round was supported by the European Union through the InvestEU Fund and Business Finland. 

SparkReceipt is an AI-based invoice management software company. The startup offers solutions for scanning and tracking receipts and invoices, expense management, document organization, cloud storage and more. SparkReceipt was founded in Finland in 2023. The founders are Antti Laitinen, Joel Ojala and Sampsa Vainio.

SparkReceipt software is already in use in nearly 100 countries. With the funds raised, the company plans to further scale its solutions among small and medium-sized business owners around the world.

Trind Ventures is an early-stage venture fund with an initial ticket of €0,1M-€1M, and follow-on investments up to €5M per company. The partners are Joel Aasmäe, Ivar Siimar, Kimmo Irpola, Taavi Lepmets, and Reima Linnanvirta.
