Lithuanian Veli raises investment from Omorika Ventures

Vilnius-based fintech startup Veli has raised a six-figure investment from Serbian fund Omorika Ventures

Veli is a fintech startup offering an EU-licensed cryptocurrency management platform. The platform manages digital assets worth more than €10M. The company was founded in 2022 in Lithuania by Stevan Radonjanin and Marko Selaković. 

According to Veli co-founder and CEO Stevan Radonjanin, the startup will use the raised funds to develop APIs for cryptocurrency brokerage platforms and solutions for private banks looking to get into cryptocurrencies. In addition, Veli plans to expand its development and sales teams, strengthen its presence in Europe and lay the groundwork for entering the Middle East.

Omorika Ventures is a venture capital fund focused on investing in Serbian founders around the world. The fund was founded in 2022 in Belgrade by Kosta Andrić, Vladimir Pavlović and Miloš Matić.
