Milrem Robotics presents HAVOC unmanned combat vehicle

Developer of robotics and autonomous systems Milrem Robotics has unveiled the HAVOC hybrid-electric robotic combat vehicle (RCV) at IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In addition, the company signed an agreement with the UK-based Pearson Engineering on the development of unmanned ground vehicles for specific applications in the MENA region. 

Milrem Robotics is defense solutions provider. It manufactures unmanned ground vehicles and develops robotic warfare solutions. Among the main products are the THeMIS and Multiscope unmanned ground vehicles, which are intended to support dismounted soldiers also serve in forestry and firefighting. 

The company was founded in Tallinn in 2013 by Kuldar Väärsi. In 2023, Abu Dhabi-based technology and defense group EDGE Group PJSC acquired a majority stake in Milrem Robotics. 

Pearson Engineering is a company that researches and develops systems and equipment for combat engineering applications. It also provides solutions for the demining industry. The company was founded in 1985 and is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

HAVOC is an electric car. The hybrid drivetrain gives it a longer range, low noise and high cross-country ability. HAVOC is based on a 15-ton platform with eight independent wheel drives, designed to carry up to five tons of payload and equipped with a combat module.

HAVOC can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h on the highway and up to 50 km/h on rough terrain. It can climb a regular slope at an angle of 60 degrees and drive on a side slope at an angle of up to 40 degrees, overcome obstacles up to 45 cm high and fords up to 1 meter deep. Armor protection complies with current NATO standards.
