Estonia's Yolo invests in blockchain game developer Bitblox

Venture capital firm Yolo Investments has invested in blockchain-based game developer Bitblox. This is not the first partnership between the two companies. Last year, Yolo Investments was one of the first to integrate games from Bitblox into its gaming platform YoloHub88

Gaming studio Bitblox was founded in May 2023 and is registered in the Isle of Man. The company is now headed by Brandt Page, who states that Bitblox wants to change the iGaming landscape. The developer offers blockchain games with skill-based betting that appeal to a tech-savvy and cryptocurrency-savvy audience.

Commenting on the news of the investment in Bitblox, Klen Kaljulaid, director of Yolo Investments, said that his company appreciates projects that want to change the traditional perceptions of the industry. He did not elaborate on how much the venture fund invested in the game developer.

Yolo Investments is a venture capital fund founded by Tim Heath in 2017 in Tallinn, Estonia. The company specializes in investments in new technologies: blockchain, decentralized finance, NFT, cryptocurrency projects. Last year, Yolo Investment invested $8M in the Toncoin cryptocurrency and the TON ecosystem, including several TON blockchain-based startups such as Tonstarter, Fanton, and PlayDeck.
