Estonian CybExer Technologies receives €1.5M loan from SEB Baltic Venture Debt
Estonian CybExer Technologies, which specializes in artificial intelligence solutions for training and assessment of cybersecurity and information technology teams, has received a loan of €1.5M from Estonian SEB Baltic Venture Debt.
CybExer Technologies specializes in advanced cybersecurity training and cyber solutions. The company offers a suite of services including live-fire exercises, vulnerability identification, and mitigation strategies to enhance organizational cyber resilience. The startup serves sectors that require robust cyber defense capabilities, such as defense organizations and critical infrastructure entities. The company was founded in 2016 by Andrus Kivisaar and Lauri Almann. It's based in Tallinn.
The growth financing program SEB Baltic Venture Debt was launched in April, 2024. It offers a business development loan of up to 30% of the total capital raised by the investor.
The SEB Baltic Venture Debt programme is available when the company already has a stable product, the idea has passed the prototype and testing phase, a circle of customers has been formed who pay for this product; it is no longer searching for a market niche, but an already working business model, but the company needs money to master the export market and invest more in employees, equipment, inventory and marketing.
The total volume of the programme in Estonia and the Baltic States is €20M, with funding of up to €2M per company.
