Estonia-based Askel.ai raises €380K

 

Estonian SaaS workflow automation system Askel.ai has raised €380K. The round was led by Estonian Superangel. Also participating in the deal were ProcessOut co-founder Manuel Huez, Matrix partner Patrick Malatack, Veriff co-founder Janer Gorohhov, and Skype ex-CTO Ott Kaukver.

Askel.ai is a self-serve platform designed to help non-technical users automate tasks across various tools using everyday language. The platform enables SaaS companies to embed automation directly into their products without writing any code. Askel.ai was founded by Joosep Kõljalg in January, 2024.

Founded in Tallinn in 2018 by Veljo Otsason and Rain Rannu, Superangel focuses on pre-seed and seed investments in the Baltics and Nordic countries. General partners are Marko Oolo and Mikko Silventola. The Estonian investment firm focuses on artificial intelligence, robotics, energy, mobility, data and infrastructure. The typical ticket size is between €300K and €800K.
