Remato co-founder Madis Lehtmets to head EstVCA

Madis Lehtmets, co-founder of Estonian construction software developer Remato, will head the Estonian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EstVCA). He will take on the responsibilities of the new CEO in January 2025, which will include maintaining and strengthening the organization’s position as an advocate for the industry's interests and developing relationships with its members, legislators, and other organizations representing the industry in Estonia and abroad.

Madis Lehtmets is the co-founder of Remato, a solution that digitally connects field crews to construction offices allowing companies to verify attendance with GPS and geofencing, collect photos, see progress, and more through a single app. Until 2023, he also served as CEO of Remato and is currently an executive adviser to the supervisory board. 

In 2023 Lehtmets joined Europe's Forbes 30 under 30s list. Since 2024, he is also a new program manager of the Tartu-based business festival Startup Day.    

Founded in 2009 in Tallinn, EstVCA has 62 members and manages assets worth €3 Bln. Chairman of the Board is Kaari Kink.
