Lithuanian venture capital fund Orion Ventures has invested in the AI-powered Finnish market analytics solution Statzon.

Founded in Helsinki in 2018 by Kimmo Kuokkane and Tomi Karila, Statzon has developed a subscription-based platform that aggregates data from more than 70K data sources and provides more than 14M market insights for companies in the robotics, automation, e-mobility, and energy sectors. Insights include statistics, forecasts, market reports, datasets, news, various end-user industries, market volumes, and values. For instance, in robotics, the company can provide clients with information on market size, forecasts, leading players, market shares, and various types of robots.

Statzon consolidates information from private research firms, government agencies, national statistical offices, and industry associations. It provides access to market reports, strategic business analysis, and industry publications. It also aggregates news feeds, updates from global media, industry-specific sources, company press releases, and research firms.
