Trind VC invests in AI recruitment platform Jobilla
Estonian Trind VC has invested in a Helsinki-based AI-powered platform for recruiters and candidates Jobilla. The €6M round was backed by Finnish VC Juuri Partners, Finnish government organization Business Finland, and Swedish business angel Matti Vikkula. Matti Vikkula will join Jobilla as chairman of the board.
Founded in Helsinki in 2015 by Tommi Siro and Henri Nordström, Jobilla has developed a platform that helps candidates find jobs and companies find qualified employees faster. Jobilla's solution automates ads, landing page content, email drafts, and the processes where people are screened to determine the ideal profile for an open position. Jobilla's technology generates native-quality content in most languages to attract talent to regions.
Jobilla's features include tests to evaluate potential candidates and determine if they are a good fit for the role. The startup also runs social media campaigns to attract more candidates.
The startup will use the investment to strengthen Jobilla's position in the European market, continue its international expansion, and launch new recruiting tools.
