Estonian fintech Viacurrent raises investment from Rockstart and Kristjan Novitski
Estonian fintech Viacurrent has received investment from Amsterdam-based accelerator Rockstart and Estonian angel investor Kristjan Novitski.
Founded in Tallinn by Hendrik Ojamaa, Arnold Veltmanna, Lemmo L., and Johannes Oopik, Viacurrent allows employees to track their completed shifts in an application, access the money for the shifts already worked, and transfer it to their bank. Viacurrent fully funds these payments.
The employer transfers the employee's salary to a special Viacurrent account, returning the salary payments. The employee receives the remaining salary after deducting the salary advances and transfer fees.
Viacurrent integrates with employers' payroll and timekeeping software. To register an employee in Viacurrent, you need to enter the employee's data, name, bank account details, and email address.
Kristjan Novitski is an Estonian investor and entrepreneur, who left Estonian beauty marketplace Stebby in June 2024, which was acquired by the French payment solutions company Up Group. Kristjan Novitski is also the founder of the financial broker Finceptiv.
