SmartCap invests €5M in Swedish Antler Nordic Fund II

Estonian SmartCap Venture Capital Fund has invested €5М in Antler Nordic Fund II. It's the second fund of the Swedish accelerator Antler. It received anchor investments from the Export Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) and Tesi from Finland. 

The fund will invest in startups located in Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Antler offers entrepreneurs a 12-week accelerator program where they can form teams and create startups. Successful teams will receive investments of up to €300К.

SmartCap is a public fund of funds that invests in private fund management teams. SmartCap manages Early Fund II, an early-stage venture capital fund, and SmartCap Green Fund.

Lemonade Stand invests in four Estonian startups

Estonian VC Lemonade Stand has invested in solution for green energy finance Soldera, AI-powered network optimization solution Enzum, drone manufacturer KrattWorks, and developer of computer vision-based solutions for drones Lendurai. The deals were closed in 2024. The amount of the investments was not disclosed, but the fund's initial ticket typically ranges from €25K to €300K.
