Software development company Helmes acquires 75% stake in Trinidad Wiseman

Estonian software development company Helmes has acquired a 75% stake in Estonian service design and digital transformation company Trinidad Wiseman (TWN). Details of the deal were not disclosed. TWN will keep its name and will work as an independent company. The company's management will continue working in TWN.

Helmes specializes in custom software development, system integration, and administration. Among its clients are more than 500 organizations, including French aircraft manufacturer Airbus, the Swedish telecommunications company Telia, the European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN, and others. The company consists of 1,4K employees who work in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Switzerland, India, Nigeria, USA, Uruguay, and other locations.

Founded in Tallinn in 2007, Trinidad Wiseman is a user experience and user interface design agency, operating in the Baltic region. The company has completed over 100 e-governance projects. Its clients include Estonian public-sector institutions and ministries, EU institutions in Slovenia, Luxembourg, and Ireland, local Estonian telecom providers, and others. 

In 2023, Trinidad Wiseman acquired 47% of the Estonian analytics company Intelex Insight. With that deal, Intelex Insight became Trinidad Wiseman's center for machine learning and business analytics.
