Telemedicine platform Medon raises €325K from Latvian investors
Latvian telemedicine platform Medon has raised €325K from Latvian investors. One of the investors is business angel Martins Singers.
Founded in Riga in 2021 by Roberts Lasovskis, Andrejs Mironovs, Martins Erglis, and Helvijs Henselis, Medon offers online medical consultations from 27 specialties. There are 130 doctors and 4K patients, registered on the platform. The company also provides face-to-face services when needed.
Earlier this month, Medon announced that it had been included in the Register of Medical Institutions of the Health Inspectorate. This step helped patients to start receiving prescriptions and medication referrals online. Apart from Latvia, Medon also operates in the Indian market, providing medical consultations focused on cardiovascular health.
The startup will use the investment to further develop medical consultations in India and, in the future, in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia markets.
