Lithuanian company EF EVE has been acquired by UK-based Djinn Technologies Ltd

Lithuanian and UK-based developer of volumetric and spatial capture software, EF EVE Ltd, has been acquired by UK Djinn Technologies Ltd. Djinn, which specializes in volumetric and spatial camera sensor and scanning technologies, has acquired all the assets, patents, and intellectual property of EF EVE Ltd. As a result, the EF EVE's platform has been rebranded as SpatialScan3D.

Founded in 2013 by Agnis Stelingis, EF EVE Ltd has developed algorithms that enable high quality volumetric and spatial video capture and live streaming using affordable sensors. Their lossless compression codec makes 3D content look realistic on mobile devices.

Established in London in 2022 by co-founder of Vox Messenger JB Benjamin, Djinn Technologies is part of a group of companies owned by Akuma Engineering Ltd. The acquisition will enhance Djinn's product offering and accelerate its growth in 3D scanning, capture, and streaming.

In addition, Djinn will offer two platforms to its customers. The first one is the SpatialScan3D platform, which is a SaaS service for both consumers and businesses. The second one is the SpatialScan3D Arcadia, which will be available to corporate, military, and academic customers and will support virtual and augmented reality (AR & VR) environments.
