Riga Investment and Tourism Agency will allocate €635K to support startup programs
Riga Investment and Tourism Agency (RITA) will allocate €635K to support startup programs in capital of Latvia, which is almost twice more than in previous year (€336K).
The investment will be used for hiring more employees, organizing incubator and accelerator programs, and events, as well as creating a "Startup house".
In the first half of 2023, TechChill, Vefresh, TechHub Riga, Riga TechGirls, and the Latvian startup association Startin.LV received co-funding from the Startup ecosystem support program and the Accelerator and Incubator support program. In total, €205K has been awarded for these programs.
This year RITA is also implementing the Relocation Support Program for highly qualified specialists and Workcation Riga. Besides, RITA is working on the development of two new support programs – Diaspora relocation support program and Startup home support program.
