Mapon Estonia, a subsidiary of Latvian Mapon (developer of fleet management technologies and part of an international association of IT companies Draugiem Group), buys Estonian telematics company CarCops. The deal will be completed in June.

Mapon Estonia has been operating in Estonian market since 2019. With the acquisition, it will become one of the largest developers of fleet management solutions in Estonia, providing services to more than 8K vehicles.

Mapon was founded in 2004 in Riga. Mapon also has a platform for communication, file exchange, and machine location sharing. According to the company, its solution allows one to spend less money on fuel and less time on the road. Mapon has more than 25K customers.

CarCops was founded in Tallinn in 2012. It offers solutions from GPS car surveillance to GPS logistics, fuel consumption control, and remote start solutions.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Last year Mapon acquired Danish telematics company Danfleet, which previously represented the Mapon brand at the Danish market.
