Estonian accelerator StartupWiseGuys will invest up to €100K in four cybersecurity startups

Estonian accelerator StartupWiseGuys will invest up to €100K in four cyber security startups during its first Cyber Acceleration Program in Bilbao. The accelerator will give €70K in cash and €30K for participating in the program. Moreover, startups can get €250K of following-on investment after the program ends.

ARGOS Cloud Security is an Australian startup that helps consultants, managed service providers, and managed security service providers execute deep cloud security and compliance assessments in cloud computing platforms provided by Microsoft Azure, Amazon, and Google. For example, the company solution identifies cloud misconfigurations, exposed cloud assets, and more issues and displays them on architecture diagrams that explain what needs to focus on.

Cyber Struggle is an Estonian startup that trains and provides security operations center certificates for individuals and corporate teams. The startup offers studies in criminology, psychological warfare, and terrorism, as well as mental resilience, leadership, decision-making, metacognition (self-understanding), and teaming. For corporate clients, it also helps recruit cybersecurity specialists, team building, and crisis management.

LetsData provides an AI-powered solution that predicts communication risks and counteracts threatening information campaigns. The startup developed an interactive tool NewsBoard, which shows the most popular topics in the evening news, helps assess the quality of it, whether it follows journalist standards, and which one is fake and biased. NewsBoard collects the data from the news channels, processes it with the help of artificial intelligence, and defines names, locations, events, and the connection between them and other data presented. 

Sealit is a UK startup that has developed cloud storage with data encryption. The startup’s solution provides automated monitoring and tracks confidential business data. It defines what data is active, who is accessing it, and from where. Also, it integrates with Gmail, Outlook, Slack, iOS, and Android so that the user can get notified on client reads, set up structured client secure spaces, and share huge files directly from the email.

Cyber Acceleration Program in Bilbao focuses on growth-stage startups. The startups will work on business development and choosing the markets to prospect and execute in. The acceleration program will run for three months.

Estonian Startup Wise Guys accelerator invests in early-stage startups from Estonia and Central European and African regions. It has invested in more than 350 startups and had 13 exits since 2012.
