Estonian Miros (former Find.Fashion) raised €2,1M
Estonian startup Miros (formerly Find.fashion), which developed machine vision technology for e-commerce, raised €2,1M in a seed round of investment. The round was led by Estonian venture company Tera VC. Other participants were Estonian venture firm Specialist VC, Czech Zaka VC, Czech incubator AISI, etc. Miros will use the fresh capital for growing the team, product development, sales and marketing.
Miros develops AI visual language for ecommerce search. When a customer looks for clothes, furniture, shoes, etc which he doesn't know the name of, the platform where he buys products on how much he likes how they look. In the end, it offers more likely what a customer initially was looking for.
Miros was founded in 2018 by Diana Saarva, Heikki Haldre, and Paul Pallin in Tallinn. Founders of Miros sold its previous startup Fits.me to Japanese Rakuten in 2015. Fits.me - a fit recommendation solution for ecommerce fashion retailers.
Tera Ventures is an international investment firm based in Estonia. Tera Ventures has 12 active investments in its first fund. Earlier this fund was managed under the Estonian venture capital fund SmartCap.
